Heads up , Jeepers. This will be the event’s 3rd year, and mine as well; plan a trip and see some amazing vehicles, and probably David Tracy to boot.

Follow the link below for more pics if you need more incentive. You’ll never see this many non-Wrangler Jeeps in one place.

Wish I could go. Ohio is a little out of the way for me.
I may do something jeepy that weekend though.

Thanks for the heads up.
We’ve attended the first two but haven’t participated, so the wife is going to be excited when shes the confirmation email. I think this is going to cost me a lot more than $55 though.

What Jeep do you have, or is that why it’ll cost a lot more?

The wife dailies a manual ‘13 JKU. She always argues that hers isn’t special enough for the parade. I somewhat agree with her, but I also don’t want it looking like we bolted on every part from the Summit Racing catalogue.
Also, we’ve never actually taken it offroading, even though we would like to. It’s just hard to find anywhere that is more than a mud pit around NW Ohio.

I wouldn’t worry about participating in the parade with a stock Jeep. Mine has nothing interesting about it, other than it’s a bright color and I drove the parade with the windshield down.
(I also for the first time in my life had vague regrets about driving a stick. My left leg was absolutely killing me by the end. 2 hours of crawling at ~1mph, oof.)

Maybe they need to drop about 6" of dirt on downtown Toledo so that we can all just crawl around in 4lo. Might make the place look a little nicer too!
Honestly though, clutching has never bothered me. I don’t see how it is any different than jumping from gas to break and back. I actually prefer it in traffic because of the ability to coast in neutral.

99% of the time I’m with you. It’s just something about the parade pattern; I suspect I wasn’t able to fully release the clutch much of the time.
